Suspended TV Console
To achieve the floating look of the suspended TV console without compromising structural integrity, a support to the floor is installed right at the back. The whole display cabinet, TV console and TV feature wall are supported all the way from the floor rather than just hanging against the wall. Support is only visible when viewed from an extremely low angle.
Bomb shelver cover
Instead of the typical metal circular bomb shelter disk cover seen in most properties, this has been replaced with a plasterboard cover. Serves the same function of allowing airflow without compromising on the aesthetics of the property. Plasterboard cover comes in different designs to suit personal preferences.
Glass backsplash
Glass backsplash has been installed on the side of the cabinets to allow easy cleaning and to increase the carpentry lifespan of use over the years.
High ceiling
First floor and top floor units have ceiling heights slightly higher than other apartments within a development because of various construction reasons. To maintain design proportionality and to avoid excessive cabinets that will create a claustrophobic effect, ceiling space above full height carpentry was pulled down by using plasterboard box ups.
Ramp
A unique feature is having a ramp at the foot of the bed. Per the client’s request, this allows her aging golden retriever dogs to comfortably get to the bed without having to climb up steps.
Ventilation fan
Bathrooms are usually designed with a window to allow ventilation. This allows airflow to remove humidity from a hot shower and let water dry. At times the bathroom cannot be located at the perimeter of the property hence there is no window access. The solution to this is to install a ventilation fan that pulls air into the bathroom. You can observe this at your next hotel stay or visit to a landed property.
