Speaker wiring
Speaker wires for the home entertainment system were laid through the false ceiling and walls. To ensure even sound quality, the same length of cables were used for all speakers regardless of their respective location to the amplifier. In technical terms, even electrical resistance from the wires.
TV and console below stairs
Rather than wasting the space under the stairs, the TV area was installed here. This created more walking space to the Balcony area and further viewing distance, allowing the purchase of a bigger TV that was otherwise not possible.
Blinds within windows
This special window has blinds installed in between the glass panels. Since the windows are located near the Kitchen sink and stove, this window allows for easy maintenance by cleaning a flat glass surface from oil and water splash. The blinds can be titled and pulled up and down using sliders on the left and right of each window pane.
Automated dish rack
Dish rack opens and closes at the push of a button. This allows top cabinets to be installed at the same height rather than having the dishrack portion drop down by H100mm for reachability.
Blum® tip-on drawers (push open drawers)
For better functionality and a sleek design with minimal finger groove handles, Blum push to open drawers with soft close were installed.
Silestone® quartz tabletop
The black tabletop has a unique matte finish to prevent fingerprint marks collecting on the surface.
Anti fingerprint laminate
Special anti fingerprint laminates were selected for all carpentry in this project. The results were a premium and luxurious finish with little need for maintenance.
TOTO® wall hung toilet
A concealed water tank and a wall hung water toilet requires a wall to be built with precise measurements as position cannot be changed at a later stage. If the toilet is too high or low or not in the middle, this wall needs to be hacked, tiles to be relaid and Bathroom waterproofing to be redone as the supporting H-backet within the wall needs to be moved. A lot of work for a few millimeters of movement.
TOTO® concealed shower mixer
For a clean and luxurious finish, concealed shower mixers were installed in both the Common and Master Bathroom.
Careful planning and measurements were required before the shower wall was built and tiles were laid as the position cannot be changed at a later stage similar to that of the wall hung toilet.
